In this class movements are connected to each other in a flowing manner and linking movement with the breath is a primary focus. Beginners are welcome and will be encouraged to pace themselves and focus on mastering the basic poses before moving onto the more complex poses. This class is heated during winter months to 84 degrees to help sweat out toxins.
This 1-hour class teaches the fundamentals of Mat Pilates. Participants will learn proper form and alignment to successfully move through a series of exercises designed to build strength from the inside out, resulting in strong, lean muscles without the bulk. Integrated movements in Pilates lead to balanced and uniformly developed muscles which are key to good posture and suppleness.
Boost metabolism and sculpt lean muscle mass as you move to upbeat tracks. You'll combine free weights with yoga inspired sequencing and cardio to intensify each pose while mixing in strength-training moves like squats, lunges, and bicep curls.
Challenge yourself with something new every week. Build strength as you focus on a fluidity of breath, balance and movement at a dynamic pace. Suited for those with intermediate level yoga experience.

This yoga class if perfect for any level. If you are new to yoga join us for this class to improve strength, balance and flexibility. We will work on poses and breathing techniques. Beginners will get detailed instruction and advanced students will have variations for their practice.
This intermediate class will blend a traditional yoga practice with dynamic strength training and Pilates technique. Thera-bands and light hand weights will be incorporated into class to help build muscle tone, increase strength and build endurance.
